Meet Caitlin Jackson:

What is your educational background?

I have an AA in Fine Art from Scottsdale Community College and a BS in Sustainability with a minor in Landscape Architecture from Arizona State University.

What was your first job?

I worked at this tiny gelato shop where I helped serve and make the gelato!

Do you have a favorite architect and why?

My favorite architect is Antoni Gaudí. I love how he used nature to inspire and progress his work.

Do you have a favorite building/home/structure and why?

My favorite building would have to be the Sagrada Família by Antoni Gaudí. The initial feeling you get when you enter the church is unlike any other. The sheer size and beauty of the structure’s interior is truly overwhelming.

Do you have any pets?

I have two pug mixes, Jackson and Holly. Yes, one of them has my last name! My husband bought and named both pugs before we even met. Ha!

Any hidden talents?

I’m a really good artist! My preferred medium is acrylic.

Do you have any hobbies?

Ugh, I have too many hobbies! Reading, writing, hiking, archery, piano, drawing, painting…

Do you have a favorite TV show?

It’s a tie between Parks & Recreation and Schitt’s Creek.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?

Tough choice, since I want to travel the world but Greece and Chile are both pretty high up there.

What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I am an only child.
