What is your educational background?

North Dakota State University with a B.S. Architecture, Minor in Art – I will be completing my master’s May 2021

What inspired you to pursue the degree you did?

Growing up I always looked forward to going on trips. I noticed myself appreciating all different styles of architecture which sparked my passion to go into the field.

What is one of the coolest projects you have worked on?

One of my favorite projects I worked on while in school was a birdhouse competition. We were assigned a bird and architect and had to factor in climate and the architect’s design style.

Favorite architect and why?

One of my favorite architects is Zaha Hadid. I love her modern and dynamic designs. I also think she started a movement for successful female architects in the field.

Do you have a signature style?

I don’t have a signature design style, but I am really interested in graphics.

Do you have any pets?

I do not have any pets, but I love animals, and I have always wanted a dog!

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy rollerblading, shopping, and spending time outdoors at the Minnesota lakes during the summer.

What is your favorite TV show?

One of my favorite Netflix shows is Selling Sunset. Season two just came out!

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be?

I would love to travel to Australia, since it has so much to offer. I would like to go snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef and visit the Sydney Opera House.

If you could learn one new thing, what would it be?

If I could learn one new thing I would like to learn how to surf!
