UDA Open House & Food Drive.
On November 9th, UDA hosted an Open House & Food Drive as a way to celebrate our recent remodel, and to say, “Thank you,” to all our clients and colleagues.
Almost a year ago, the sprinkler line in our office’s attic was accidentally severed. The entire property was flooded, and subsequently ruined, in a matter of minutes. After months of renovating, remodeling, and redecorating, our office is finally ready to be re-opened to the public. The Open House was not only our way of showing associates and clients our new “home,” but was also our way of showing appreciation for everyone being patient and supportive during the process.
“We are so pleased with our new home after six months of relocating and almost a year of renovating! We are grateful to our clients, staff, and associates for supporting us through the journey. Thank you!” – Jessica Hutchison-Rough
The Open House took place among festive music from Tommy Holloway Entertainment and autumn inspired decor. Everyone was able to enjoy grilled cheese from the 2 Fat Guys Grilled Cheese Food Truck, along with decedent deserts. When not eating, guests were able to play jumbo yard games and there was an activity table for the children. All guests were encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for the United Food Bank, and the children’s coloring sheets were donated to Color a Smile. All together we collected 176 items and raised $1,115 for United Food Bank, and mailed in seven pieces of art to Color a Smile. It’s safe to say, the Open House was a success!
